Expected New Car Launches At Auto Expo 2016!!!
The National capital is gearing up for the biggest Auto Carnival- Auto Expo 2016. The Auto Expo 2016 is organised by ACMA (Automotive Component Manufacturers Association Of India), CII (Confederation Of Indian Industry), SIAM (Society Of Indian Automobile Manufacturers).
The Event will be held in two phases at 2 different places - Pragati Maidan, New Delhi and India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. The Components Show will take place at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi and Motor Show will take place at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.
The total indoor exhibition space has been increased to 73000 sq. metres with the addition of 6 new halls to existing 8 halls that have resulted in an additional carpet area of 37,240 sq. metres. According to SIAM, 58 automobile manufacturer will participate in Auto Expo 2016 and 1500 companies including 900 Indian Companies and 600 International will participate in Component Show. However some big gaints like Bajaj, Ducati and Royal Enfield will be missed.
New Car Launches:-
As we are getting near to the biggest Auto Carnival following are the list of few Cars expected to launch at Auto Expo 2016:-
- Alto 800 Diesel
Maruti will be launching its most selling entry level car Alto with diesel engine. The sane 0.8 litre 3- cylinder diesel engine which powers Celerio will be equipped in Alto 800/ Alto K10. It will generate the maximum power of 49 bhp against 125 Nm of torque. 5-speed manual gearbox is used. The price will be expected between Rs 3 - 4.5 lakh.
2. Maruti Ignis
Maruti Suzuki's compact SUV is powered with 1.2 litre petrol and 1.3 litre diesel engine. It will consist of manual and CVT gear box with simple, compact design and a highly spacious interior.
The price is expected between Rs 4 - 6 lakh.
3. Tata Zica
Tata Zica will have 1.2 litre Revotron petrol and 1.05 litre Revotroq diesel engine which are claimed to be high performance engines. As far as features are concerned the vehicle is enabled with smartphone enabled turn by turn navigation app, multi drive mode, 9th generation ABS with EBD, advanced dual path suspension etc. The price is expected to be Rs 3.5 - 5 lakh.
4. Renault Kwid AMT
Renault is getting ready to bring the AMT( Automated Manual Transmission). This variant will have more powerful 1.o litre 5-speed AMT gearbox. This is the automated variant of existing model and is expected to be more powerful. The price is expected to be Rs 3.30 - 3.50 lakh.
5. Datsun Redi-Go
The Japanese autocar maker Nissan is planning to bring a low cost car built on Renault-Nissan Alliance's CMF-A platform which will compete against Alto 800. Datsun Redi-Go will be 0.8 litre 3 cylinder petrol engine with 5-speed manual transmission. The price is expected to be Rs 2 - 3.5 lakh.
6. Jaguar XE Sedan
The British Luxury car maker will launch its XE Sports Sedan, the most affordable Jaguar in Indian market which will compete against Audi-A4, Merceded Benz-C Class, BMW 3-Series etc. It will be offered in two engine options- 2 litre, 4 cylinder engine turbocharged and JLR;s new 2.0 litre Ingenium diesel engine. The XE is capable to mark 0-100 kmph in 4.9 second with a top speed of 250 kmph and has an 8-speed automatic transmission. The price is expected to be Rs 30 - 45 lakh.
7. Toyota Vios
Toyota is gearing up to launch a mid -sized sedan Toyota Vios expected to be positioned between Etios and Corola Altis. The petrol version will get a 1.5 litre VVT-i engine and 1.4 litre engine with 5-speed manual and 4 speed automatic transmission. The price is expected to be Rs 7.5 - 11 lakh.
8. Honda BR-V
The seven-seater SUV Honda BR-V will make its debut at Motor Show in Auto Expo 2016. BR-V has 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol engine and 1.6 litre i-DTEC diesel engine which will produce the power of 118 bhp with 145 Nm of torque and 98.6 bhp with 200 Nm respectively. This SUV will be longest and spacious in its segment. The expected price is to be Rs 8 - 12 lakh.
9. Datsun Go Cross
Datsun Go Cross is another product based on the Renault-Nissan Alliance's CMF- A platform. It is likely to have the same engine as that of Duster- 1.5 litre K9K turbo diesel engine paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. It is expected to price between Rs 5 - 10 lakh.
10. Hyundai Tucson
The 5-seater with most spacious cabin is expected to come with 2.0 litre CRDi diesel engine coupled with 6-speed manual gearbox. Tucson is given the premium and sportier look with features like sloping roofline, hexagonal grill, canted-forward wheel arches and sculpted rear haunches etc. This is expected in the price range of Rs 18 - 25 lakh.
10. Volkswagen Tiguan
The new Tiguan comapct SUV will be 50 kgs lighter and more spacious than its outgoing global model. The Indian model of the vehicle will have 4 cylinder TSI petrol and 4 cylinder TDI diesel engine with 6-speed DSG automatic gearbox. It will compete with Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour etc.The price is expected to be Rs 25 - 30 lakh.
11. Tata Nexon
Tata Motors might unviel the Nexon at Auto Expo 2016 in New Delhi. As we all know it was first showcased as a concept in Auto Expo 2014. The petrol version of Nexon will come with 1.2 litre REVOTRON engine with turbochargers while diesel variant will come either with 1.3 litre or 1.5 litre engine. The expected price is to be Rs 5.80 - 7.50 lakh.
12. Tata Hexa
This is the first In-House designed SUV by design team of Tata Motors in UK, Italy and Pune
with inputs from Land Rover. Based on modified Aria platform, Hexa has 2.2 litre , 4cylinder VARICOR diesel engine with 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. The expected price is to be Rs 10 - 14 lakh.
13. Maruti Suzuki's Vitara Brezza (YBA)
The much awaited SUV of Maruti Vitara Brezza is expected to unveil at Auto Expo 2016. The Interior design and components are the same as of Swift with 1.2 litre K-Series petrol engine and 1.3 litre multi jet diesel engine. The price is expected to be Rs 6 - 8 lakh.
14. Jeep Grand Cherokee
The iconic American SUV brand JEEP will be introduced in India by Italian automaker - Fiat at Auto Expo 2016. The Jeep Grand Cherokee will be its first SUV launch in country. The SUV is powered with 3.0 litre V6 diesel engine with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The expected price is to be Rs 35 - 50 lakh.
15. Chevrolet Spin
The Chevrolet Spin is geared up to make its debut in Auto Expo 2016 in New Delhi. The Chevrolet is expected to boost their sales with this Seven seater. It will include 1.5 litre petrol and 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine with 5-speed manual transmission as standard feature and 6-speed automatic gearbox will be offered on petrol variants. The price is expected in the range of Rs 6.5 - 8.5 lakh.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro- A heavily Loaded Smartphone!!!
The Chinese Smartphone manufacture Xiaomi has revealed another smartphone loaded with exciting specifications- Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro . This is another smartphone by the company having full metal body and a finger print scanner. Priced at CNY 999 ( approximately 10,000) the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro will go on sale in China by company's official website. This phone has 4G+ network support.The smartphone has 5.5 inch full HD 1080x1920 pixels IPS display and offers 178 degree viewing angle.
The smartphone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 (64 bit) 1.8 GHz Hexa-Core processor with 5 MP front camera and 16 MP rear camera with f 2.0 aperture phase detection autofocus & two-tone flash. It has 2 GB RAM and 4,050 mAh battery with fast charging support that can charge 50% phone in just 1 hr. The phone runs on Android Lollipop and has 4G dual sim support (both GSM). As far as connectivity is concerned the handset supports 4G, GPRS / Edge, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and micro USB. The phone comes in two variants with RAM and storage versions- one with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage and second with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB inbuilt storage. The company has not yet given any pricing details about 32 GB version of Redmi Note 3 Pro.

No one would have imagined that a smartphone can smoke but the US based company Vaporcade has made it possible. We have known that a smartphone is used for making calls, emails, chats and checking Facebook posts or twitter tweets etc. but Vaporcade is offering a smartphone that will allow you to make calls, text messages etc and also allows to smoke your favorite e-flavors even help you to quit smoking also.Now you can offer your friend an electronic puff with a smartphone that works like a e-cigarette.
The Jupiter IO3 is the world's first smokeable smartphone with a vape.This is a 3G smartphone that runs on android 4.4 Kitkat operating system, the phone is relatively light in weight just like cigarette packet and costs $299.
This smartphone has two batteries one is used to power the phone while other is used for smoke both the batteries are shared in such a manner that if you don't smoke much you will get a longer battery life.
The smartphone has liquid cartridges that costs $15 and comes in different flavors like mint, peach, coffee etc. each flavor provides about 800 puffs that is equal to 4 packs of cigarettes.
The company has pre-installed the Vaporcade app on the phone that lets the user to track battery life, which flavor has been loaded, how much liquid is left and how many puffs the user has taken. This is also helpful in reducing smoking habit as it allows the user to set the goal and when the number of puffs crosses the goal app alerts the user.
The company claimed that it has been approved by the US Federal Communication Commission, the information on health effects and the impact of vaping from the device is still not known. The company plans to release the 4G model of smartphone for $499 in coming months.

As we know Cycling is considered one of the best fitness exercise in the world but now a days there exists a lot of traffic on roads and cyclists are really concerned about their road safety.the Varia Rear view Radar from Garmin helps reinforce road safety for cyclists by warning them of vehicles approaching from behind up to 140 meters (about 153 yards) and displays the info on a screen mounted on the bike’s handlebars. Upto 8 vehicles can be notified and colors are used to indicate the increasing risk. This is the world's first cycling radar system and is the winner of CES Innovation Award. The Varia ($199.99, available now) can also warn approaching vehicles of a cyclist ahead with a light that increases in brightness or will flash faster as cars approach.
- UA HealthBox
UA HealthBox($400) is a health system that that tracks and manages your activity, fitness, sleep, and nutrition. HTC have partnered with Under Armour to develop this product. HealthBox includes a wearable UA Band (for the wrist), UA Heart Rate monitor (with chest strap) and a smart UA Scale (measuring weight, body fat) -- all of which connect wirelessly to the UA Record companion app for Android or iOS. Each device send data to the app and also provide information and motivation for achieve fitness health and goals.

We have seen different type of printers like 3D printers etc but this is a type of printer particularly aimed at professional saloon rather than home use. iNail Intelligent Printer (available at $2,800) lets you choose or design a pattern or photo and then print it directly onto your fingernails -- whether you want to wait the 8-odd seconds for the gel polish to set (before applying top polish and sealing with UV light) or if you’d prefer to insert a set of 20 artificial nail/toe tips and apply them afterwards. The Chinese company says users can select from hundreds of designs via the 13.3-inch touchscreen or import a image of their own.
- Hexoskin
Montreal's Hexoskin is a type of smart shirt, which measures its wearer's cardiac and breathing activity. The shirt has the tracking device that slips into it. Hexoskin chief executive Pierre-Alexandre Fournier says the shirt works better than wrist-worn fitness trackers in activities such as martial arts, boxing or basketball.
"We measure things that are hard to measure on the wrist," he says. "And if you want to do team sports, you can't wear things on your wrist."

LEGO’s WeDo 2.0 is the next-generation S.T.E.M. offering looks to be a fascinating kit for teaching elementary school students the basics of programming and robotics.
