He cast it as a temporary move in response to terrorism and invoked President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s authorization of the detention of Japanese, German and Italian immigrants during World War II as precedent.
In response to his statement Former United States Secretary of state Hillary Clinton wrote on Twitter that "Tell Donald Trump: Hate is not an American value"
After his racist remarks against Muslims , White House issued a public statement qouting that" Donald Trump is almost out of the race for Presidential Elections in United States of America".
